Augmented Reality for Education at Oxford Saïd Business School
Oxford Saïd Business School wanted to unveil its new brand identity while reimagining orientation for students and staff.
The goal? Turn passive introductions into active discovery, creating excitement, driving campus exploration, and embedding brand understanding in a more meaningful, memorable way.

The Approach:
We partnered with Saïd to launch an augmented reality for education experience: an AR treasure hunt titled “Impact from Within.” This immersive activation transformed student orientation with AR, guiding participants around campus using mobile technology, and rewarding them for collecting branded 3D tokens at historic buildings, academic hubs, and cultural landmarks.

Each virtual token unlocked:

Branded prizes and exclusive digital content
A deeper connection to the revitalised Saïd brand
The activation showcased how AR gamification in education can make orientation interactive and memorable. Entirely mobile and browser-based (no app required augmented reality), the experience engaged participants through a live map, smart geotargeting, and a digital rewards wallet. This approach exemplified geo-location AR campus exploration, encouraging repeat visits and meaningful connections.
