Google Cloud Gamified Learning Experience
A global cloud hyperscaler set out to launch a gamified learning experience to support the rollout of new infrastructure in South Africa. The goal was to move beyond traditional print, transforming static materials into an interactive experience that would engage audiences, communicate complex information and reinforce innovation.
Our Approach
We transformed a printed booklet into an interactive, gamified learning experience by layering digital content onto physical touchpoints. Each page became an entry point into a deeper experience, encouraging users to explore, interact and engage with the content.
This approach turned passive reading into active participation. By combining storytelling with interactive elements, the experience increased engagement and helped users better understand and retain key messages.
How It Worked
The experience was delivered through a mobile-first, web-based journey, accessible via simple scan interactions with no app download required. Users scanned printed touchpoints to unlock interactive content, creating a seamless bridge between physical and digital communication channels.
Each interaction revealed additional layers of content, guiding users through a structured learning journey while encouraging exploration and repeat engagement.
By combining interactive content with seamless access, the experience transformed traditional print into a measurable, engaging communication tool.
